HISTORY OF ROSEY'S ITALIAN CAFE
Rosey's Italian Cafe was established in
1997. Rick and Rosey opened the restaurant on Liberty Pole Way in downtown Rochester, NY. Rick was previously employed at Mama Rosa's cooking beside Tony, Rosey's father.
With Tony's help the young couple opened up the restaurant of their dreams, Rosey's Italian Cafe.
After five years of consistent growth it was time for a new location. Location number two was on the corner of East Main and Stillson Street. Rosey's had wonderful support from the community. A strong clientele was built over ten years.
Rosey's lease was lost in 2011. On March 11th the couple decided to move their business closer to home. Penfield, home to the Vitale family, is where the restaurant is currently operating. Rosey's is looking forward to bringing old school Italian food to a new generation. 2017 Rosey's Will be celebrating their 20th year.
